The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) is hosted by the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). The KBIS/IBS audience for 2020 consisted of over 600 world-leading manufacturers and suppliers and approximately 90,000 attendees. The diverse audience included interior designers; showroom design and build professionals; as well as decorative plumbing and hardware fixture owners and builders who span the globe.
Our booth was consistently busy with visits and inquiries from business owners and key decision-makers who want to make 2020 the year they finally master how to massively profit from the internet channel and grow their audience.
One key differentiator that the team at Showroom Marketing learned during this year’s show was how they now have the capacity to act as a “middle entity” (i.e. lobbying firm) for showrooms that sell high-end plumbing fixtures with an interest in gaining more cooperative advertising dollars from product manufacturers.
After speaking with dozens of manufacturers, we also learned that there is a huge demand for a firm that knows how to ramp up results, trim time, and yield the most ROI for showrooms and manufacturers alike.
Looking Ahead to KBIS 2021
After three long days of running the trade show floor, meeting with various businesses and design and build professionals, and responding to unique inquiries, the team at Showroom Marketing has their work cut out for them.
Needless to say, we are already looking forward to KBIS 2021 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida next February. We will be exhibiting again and are in the running for presenting via the Voices In The Industry selection. 80 presenters are selected to talk about an assortment of best-practice topics – it’s good stuff!
